Learning how to maintain an effective oral health routine should be part of every child’s education. 

Supporting pupils to improve their oral health can: 

• Increase their confidence and self esteem
• Increase school attendance and performance through decreased dental related absences
• Enable young people to make good first impressions when seeking employment or moving on to further education
• Improve children’s lifelong oral health
